Detania the Wizz Kid

Wizz is doing really well in freestyle and heelwork to music. He has won all his HtM shows this year that he was entered for and is now in intermediate. He has showed his Dr Who routine in Milan Italy this year and competed with it the next weekend for the first time and got his promotion to advanced freestyle.

He competed once with Dr Who in advanced freestyle and got a 6th place already beating quite a few well known advanced handlers and more experienced dogs. As Dr Who was really meant for a large ring, I've now made a new choreography on "Hung up" from Madonna with the help of Hayley Austin, who helped me with my own dance moves and together we made the choreography. This takes me away from my so loved story line routines, but it was time for a change. We will start competing with that routine in August (we had planned on going to Anglesey this year but I got ill so could not go to the competition). I hope it all works out well in the ring.

Wizz has changed from a naughty, sulky, moody teenager to an eager and very workaholic little dog. He was a late bloomer, but it was worth the wait! He has changed completely over the last years and is such a happy and fun little dog to work with now. He is and has always been my shadow, following me around all day, wanting to be close to me all the time. He had a try with the sheep as well in December and was so promising that he will get some more sessions. I am curious what the outcome will be of that........
