Minoesje Fan Club

A lot of people who have bought the DVD have made comments on our cat Minoesje, who you can see walk around us several times when I am clicker training the dogs. This way, she hopes to tempt me to train with her as well, as she loves clicker training.

In 2003 Minoesje was found abandoned in an old building and was brought to the rescue shelter, where I used to do a charity clinic once weekly (as part of my job while I was a vet in Ipswich) She was about 6 to 8 months old and very pregnant. She got 3 lovely kittens that needed checking regularly, so I would spent some time with Minoesje (or Pippa, as she was named by the owners of the rescue shelter) every week and that way she able to make me fall in love with her. When the kittens were gone to new homes and no one had decided to give Minoesje a nice new home, it was only natural that she came to live with us.

She quickly enclosed everyone in her heart and when Wizz came to life with us 6 months later she mothered him for a while, until he was a lot bigger than her! As a child I always wanted to have a cat and she is more than I ever hoped for. She is the most gentlest of creatures and always behaving very sweet. But being a proper cat, she knows how to look after herself, being a good hunter and making sure our garden is free of moles, mice and if she has a chance to hunt some pheasants, she will not pass it either :-)

Most of the time when I take the dogs for a walk, she will accompany us on our walk. Even when you think she is not even near the house, she will be there when I walk out with the dogs. She will not miss out on a walk together! She is a very loyal little furry friend and we are very grateful to have her in our home.
