Welcome to our brand new website! As you may have noticed in the past months we had not updated our website. This was due to several projects we were working on and we wanted to change to look of our website.

We got some land in August 2009 and had to fence this before we could put our sheep on it. Yes, you read that right, a dream has come true and some Scottish Blackface ladies have come into our lives!!! :-)))) We went all the way to the Scottish-English border to get them!

Not only have we now got the opportunity to train our own dogs with the sheep, we also have an outdoor training area for the dog club and for ourselves to train with the doggies. In November a 1000 hawthorn bushes arrived and had to be put in the ground, with the help of friends & family we managed to do so in time before the snow and frost made it impossible to work on the land. Thanks guys!!!

We changed the name of the dog club into Black Jack Dog Training Centre as our field is located on Black Jack Road between Swineshead and Wigtoft.

In the new year it is already looking like it will be another busy year for us. We have been invited to do 4 freestyle displays at the International Dog Show in Milan in January. Wizz is learning a new routine that should be ready by then so we are looking forward to showing it for the first time!!!

But we are also busy teaching other people not only at our own dog training centre but at seminars all over Europe in 2010. Due to having to wait till the end of December for the competition schedules to come out for the UK, I have not accepted many seminar appointments yet, but I am happy to accept bookings from now on for the rest of the year. As you will understand our own dogs need to compete as well to progress further in the sports!
