The Barking Mad Divas
Another year has passed and we are getting ready for another season of competitions and lots and lots of training. Wizz is doing several demos at the international dog show in Milan in January and the week after that he will be competing at the Rugby Freestyle competition. He will be showing his brand new routine.
Koda will hopefully start competing this year in obedience, freestyle/htm and in agility. He is also training with the sheep and we will see how he developes there. Rogie is now mostly trained by Adrian (herding) and Megan (obedience and freestyle), so I only am allowed to do agility with her for now, but I expect Adrian to take over there as well. In the end Rogie was his wish, but due to his back problems he wasn't able to train much with her until now.
Adrian will take Rogie to a herding day in April and we are already looking forward to that. I will take Violet to the same training day as Violet is now retired from obedience and freestyle and is only doing what she likes best: herding sheep. When she sees we are driving towards our field, her eyes light up and she is ready to go :-) She has made more improvement in her herding and I hope we can start competing this year!
Gyp is getting old. She is sometimes a little bit confused and seems to lead her own life in her own little world....She is still happy to go on walks with us and sometimes does a little bit of training, but nothing complicated as she won't cope with that. Cuddles she still enjoy lots and will ask to be cuddled a lot. We try to keep her happy and content. Healthwise she seems to be doing well.
I look forward to another year of a lot of sportive experiences and lots of fun with my dogs!
